THINGS LIVE OAK: A Workshop and Tour The
Georgia Urban Forest Council, the Savannah Tree Foundation, and Trees
South Carolina present Dr. Kim Coder of the University of Georgia; Arborist
Michael Murphy of Beaufort, South Carolina; and City of Charleston Urban
Forestry Superintendent Danny Burbage; tour some of Savannah's most
historic live oaks, including the Candler Oak, the Majestic Oak, and
the famous live oaks at the Wormsloe Historic Site, with talks by Savannah
Forestry Adminstrator Bill Haws and staff along the way. Lunch is included.
